Common Questions
What age is Alpha Robotics suitable for?
Alpha Robotics is designed for children aged 8 to 17. We recommend at least 8 years as the program involves handling small electronic components and following technical instructions. Advanced students (13+) work on more complex autonomous robot systems.
Are the robots real or toys?
Real robots — not toys. Students work with professional-grade robotics kits that use actual sensors, motors, microcontrollers, and circuits. The robots they build actually work and can be programmed to complete real tasks.
Do students keep the robots they build?
Students get to take home the projects and models they create during the program. Some kits are provided for use during class sessions, while personal project builds can be taken home at program end.
Does my child need prior experience?
No prior experience is required. We start from the very basics of electronics and programming. Students who already know some coding will move to the intermediate/advanced track where they work on more sophisticated systems.
Can schools bring Alpha Robotics to their students?
Yes — Alpha Robotics is one of our most popular school partnership programs. We bring equipment, curriculum, and qualified instructors directly to partner schools. Contact us to discuss what a partnership looks like for your school.
